Common questions

Questions before we start

Why Axis Project?

Over 20 years of German craftsmanship and specialist expertise in premium surface restoration. We help developers, hotels, contractors and facility managers preserve valuable building components without unnecessary replacement, delivering high-quality results, minimal disruption, and a fraction of the cost of replacing.

Is restoration really cheaper than replacement?

Almost always. You avoid buying a new component, removing the old one, refitting and the downtime around it. We restore the surface you already have, which is why restoration typically costs a fraction of full replacement.

How much can restoration actually save?

On one project, a full replacement, once the new component, removal, refitting and downtime were included, would have cost around AED 30,000. Restoring the surface in place brought that down to a fraction of the figure and saved the client roughly AED 24,000, for a result that looks like new.

Will I be able to see the restoration?

Our goal is a restoration you cannot see. We match the original colour, gloss and texture so the restored area blends into the surface around it, and in most cases it is undetectable. On some materials, in certain light or at close range, a faint trace can remain, and we will always tell you honestly what result to expect before we start.

How long does a typical restoration take?

Most jobs are completed on site in a single visit, often within a day. Larger or façade projects are scheduled around your operations so there is no disruption.

Can you work in an occupied hotel or office?

Yes, and we do it regularly. We work quietly, around guests, staff and live operations, with the area contained and mess kept to a minimum. Some restoration steps use materials with a temporary odour, so where needed we work after hours or ventilate the space, and we plan the timing with you so disruption stays minimal.

Which areas of the UAE do you cover?

We serve Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and the wider UAE. Tell us where you are and we will arrange a site visit.

What surfaces and materials can you restore?

Marble and natural stone, tiles, aluminium and powder-coated metal, facades and cladding, glass, doors, wood, veneer, lacquer and HPL. If you have a project, tell us the surfaces involved and we will confirm scope.

Do you have a project? Let's talk.

Tell us about the project and where you are in the UAE. We will assess the surfaces and send a no-obligation quote.
